The Importance Of Following Your Heart and Intuition

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. Because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart even when it leads you off the well worn path; and that will make all the difference.” – Steve Jobs.

VERY inspiring! Trusting in something is so important. I try to remember this, even in the darkest of all moments. Getting the money has never been the most important thing for me. Loving what I do has always been #1. Loved this so much…thanks for sharing it! Wish more folks would teach their kids this.

Doing what you do because of a passion is a type of faith that eventually all will be ok. Chasing a paycheck is not the answer and even though I have been guilty of the latter I have tried to balance it out with following my heart. The world would be a different place if we all did that.

Beautiful video! I trust in God to show me the way. Of course I have to walk along the path but it is Him who directs me.
We must follow our dreams and passions.

ChinWe, this video certainly had a powerful message. We do need to look at ourselves and ask what we want from life. I have never been one to go for the money – as long as we have enough for our needs, then I’m fine with that.
I like the message – go with your heart and intuition – right on. Doing that has allowed me to try and achieve new things which have left me feeling fulfilled and happy.

Powerful message and I certainly agree. Regardless of what one chooses to believe in as a source, we each have the power to create our own life experience. To me that means not sitting back and assuming some thing out there in the vast universe will put the pieces together for us, we have to do the work ourselves. To do otherwise is to become the passenger rather than the driver in your own life journey.

Great video. Makes me think of all the artists, musicians, filmmakers, writers and countless others who made the right decision and how lucky we all are that they did.

I can’t express how much I loved that. I think it is so easy to get caught up in keeping up with your neighbors and what society says you should be doing. You can totally lose sight of the fact that this is your life, and only your life. And if you aren’t doing everything you can to live your life to the fullest, you are missing out. I really needed to see this today so it really helped me. I feel like sometimes the path I chose looks crazy to others, but this reminded me that this was my journey, and only the universe knows where it will end. Thank you for sharing!
