A Day of discovery at Hoxton Hotel Holborn, London

The Hoxton Hotel is a boutique hotel that combines sleeping, eating and drinking in the heart of Holborn, London. It’s a place to sleep, eat, drink, work and play anytime of the day. I was invited to the Hoxton Hotel for an afternoon of lunch and a tour of the hotel. The Hotel 174 bedrooms comes in four different categories; there’s Shoebox the smallest, the Snug, Comfy and Roomy the biggest. Each of the rooms are cleverly designed. There’s Hubbard & Bell, which is the main restaurant and bar, Chicken Shop in the basement, Cheeky salon, Holborn Grind and the Apartment.

Hubbard & Bell is the main restaurant and bar where guests can hang alongside the locals.

Cheeky Salon is a one stop beauty shop for beauty, hair, manicure, pedicure, cosmetics, bath and body.

Holborn Grind is for coffee, cakes, pastries and sarnies.

The Chicken Shop is in the basement, the place for a good spit roasting.

The Apartment is for meetings and event space for throwing parties.

The Rooms

The Shoebox room is the smallest and it’s pretty small, but it still features everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The Sung Room is made for snuggling! Lol! little bigger than the Shoebox but still filled with the same Hoxton perks.

The Comfy Room is cleverly designed to maximise space. Larger than a Shoebox and Snug but smaller than a Roomy.

The Roomy Room is the biggest room. The clue is in the name. Ideal for longer stays, you can fit everything in here.

No matter how big (or small) your room is, each one comes with free Wi-Fi, an hour of phone calls, fresh milk, tea and coffee, water and the daily breakfast drop.

If you want to see what Hoxton Hotel Holborn experience really looks like, I leave you with this video.

One word to describe the Hoxton Hotel, Holborn is Quirky! What an incredible hotel! The hotel is young, trendy and urban. Love the ambience and decor, the atmosphere is cozy, chic, nice and stylish! I couldn’t believe how lovely the place is. Delicious lunch at Hubbard & Bell. Lovely open space. Service is superb and prompt.

Wow! The shoebox room is tiny!
This hotel looks fun and quirky – very different to the typical Hilton type hotels.
    I like the chicken restaurant!

You do have the best job in the world, don’t you? This was a great write-up of an interesting hotel. I did wonder though, do the guests know the rooms are called Shoebox, etc? The food looks wonderful and it looks like a fun place for the young at heart.

Really attractive hotel. Like all the natural wood tones. The two things that really caught my attention are the chicken shop and the shower in the video.

The Hoxton Hotel looks very quirky and cool. Looks much nicer than some European hotel rooms I’ve seen. And a chicken shop in the basement… Awesome! 🙂

This is one of my favourite places to coch. Not only is it cool, stylish and comfy but you can be there for hours and not feel under any pressure to leave. Plus it is smack bang in the middle of Central London and you can get to anywhere. LOVE it!
